What is Post Rock?

Apart from being a senseless label...

its simply an under-estimated and under-appreciated music genre. Being quite mature in its age has sparked off many sub-genres, and many discussions around those labels. Post Rock is generally instrumental, always emotional and mostly monumental in the sense that tracks build up over time. The genre has a reputation for long tracks (10 minutes and more), great artwork, and for some reason a reputation as being a protest rock genre.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter. if you like the music, great, if you don't, that's great too.
